What does 512e and Digitally Signed Firmware mean here?
512e is Advanced Format: the drive uses 4K physical sectors internally but reports 512-byte logical sectors to the host, so operating systems and controllers expecting 512-byte blocks work without change. Digitally Signed Firmware means the firmware image carries a cryptographic signature the server validates before it loads, blocking unsigned or altered firmware. Defective Products

In case your hardware becomes defective during the Global One warranty period, but the HPE warranty has expired, you can return the product to us for a working replacement. You are responsible for the shipment of returned merchandise. However, we will cover the expense of Ground /Economy shipment for the replacement item(s).
