Two facts settle most DL160 Gen10 orders: the chassis and the processor generation. The server was built as 8 SFF, which optionally takes two more bays for ten, or as 4 LFF, and the two front ends are not interchangeable. The processor generation then decides the memory, because DDR4-2933 kits go with 2nd Generation Xeon Scalable parts and DDR4-2666 kits with 1st Generation.

1.0TB, using sixteen 64GB modules at 2933 MT/s. There are 16 DIMM slots in total, eight per processor across six channels, so a single-processor server has eight of them available.

How many drives fit in a DL160 Gen10?
Eight in the 8 SFF chassis, or ten with the optional two-bay SFF support. The 4 LFF chassis takes four, and the two front ends are not interchangeable.

Does the DL160 Gen10 have a RAID controller built in?
It has HPE Smart Array S100i SR Gen10 software RAID with 14 SATA ports. It runs in UEFI mode only, is off by default, and supports Windows. A SAS array needs an E208 or P408 Smart Array controller.
