Up to 4TB - 16 DIMM slots on 8 channels at 2 DIMMs per channel, with HPE DDR5 Smart Memory RDIMMs from 16GB to 256GB 3DS. The QuickSpecs state that every listed processor supports up to 4TB.

What drives does the DL320 Gen12 accept?
It depends on the chassis. The SFF server takes 8 SFF drives, or 10 with the 8+2 cage; the SFF/EDSFF server takes up to 10 SFF or 20 EDSFF E3.S drives; the 4LFF and 12LFF servers take LFF spindles; the GPU server takes SFF or EDSFF cages.

Does the DL320 Gen12 have built-in network ports?
No. The QuickSpecs list network ports as none standard and state the server does not include a network controller, so every configuration needs an OCP 3.0 or PCIe stand-up adapter. The dedicated iLO management port on the DC-SCM module is separate from production networking.
