Neither rail kit includes a cable management arm. The Easy Install and Ball Bearing kits each have their own matching arm part number, and the two are not interchangeable. Both kits telescope, so either lets you slide the server forward for service without unracking it. The practical difference is what the server was built with: HPE shipped its pre-configured DL560 Gen10 models on Easy Install rails with a cable management arm, so matching those is usually the path of least resistance when adding a second machine to an existing rack.
Choosing the Right DL560 Gen10 Rack Option
- Order the arm with the rails, not after. Each rail kit explicitly excludes its cable management arm, and the two arms are specific to their rail families.
- Measure the rack before ordering rails. The chassis is 75.47cm (29.71in) deep with its bezel, and a cable management arm adds behind that.
- A server bought without rails will have none. Rail kits stopped being standard on this model, so a used DL560 Gen10 arriving without them is normal rather than a missing part.
