How many GPUs does an SL390s G7 support?
Three in the 2U half-width tray and eight in the 4U, each drawing up to 225 watts on an internal x16 PCI Express 2.0 slot. GPUs are not supported in a single-processor configuration, so both sockets must be filled.

Does the SL390s G7 have its own power supply?
No. Power comes from the four Common Slot hot-plug supply bays in the s6500 chassis, and cooling from its eight fan bays, so neither is a tray-level part. Every SL390s G7 model is documented with the chassis sold separately.

Does the SL390s G7 support InfiniBand?
Yes, on the system board. The embedded NC543i 2-port 4X QDR adapter provides a 10GbE SFP+ port and an optional InfiniBand QSFP port, and the QSFP port needs the HPE InfiniBand Enablement Kit before it will work.
