Up to two Intel Xeon 5600 series processors, for twelve cores in total. HPE lists the 130W X5690 and X5687 for this server as configure-to-order only, not sold individually, so the fastest option kits are 95W parts.

How much memory can a DL360 G7 take?
384GB using Registered DIMMs, or 48GB using Unbuffered. The server has 18 DDR3 slots, but the 384GB maximum fills only twelve of them with 32GB quad-rank modules, because quad-rank DIMMs are limited to two per channel.

How many hard drives fit in a DL360 G7?
Four hot-plug 2.5-inch SFF drives as standard, or eight with the DL360 G6/G7 SFF hard drive backplane kit fitted. There is no large form factor option on this 1U chassis.

Which RAID controller is built into the DL360 G7?
An embedded HPE Smart Array P410i, rated to manage up to eight SFF drives. Entry and Efficiency models ship it with zero memory and RAID 0, 1 and 1+0; base models add a 256MB cache and RAID 5 and 5+0; performance models ship a 1GB flash backed write cache.
