Two counts decide most DL980 G7 orders: processors and power supplies. Processors ship four to a kit and fill two drawers, and only an eight-processor server can use all 16 memory cartridges and reach 4TB. Power supplies are not a redundant pair here — the chassis needs four to operate and eight to be redundant, all of them on 200 to 240VAC.
