HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen11 Parts
The HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen11 packs four sockets of 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable compute into a density-optimized 2U chassis — the platform for virtualization farms, in-memory databases, and consolidation projects that need 4-socket scale without 4U of rack space. Every part below is genuine HPE, available new and refurbished, and tested for compatibility before it ships. Live pricing for each part number appears in the tables further down this page.
DL560 Gen11 Platform at a Glance

- Memory: 64 DIMM slots (16 per processor), DDR5-4800 ECC RDIMM — up to 8TB with the 128GB kits offered here
- Storage: hot-plug 2.5-inch SFF (U.3) and EDSFF E3.S bays — up to 24 drives, plus a 2SFF Universal Media Bay option; no LFF bays on this model
- Expansion: PCIe 5.0 riser kits (up to 3 × x16), OCP 3.0 slots, and a GPU enablement option for the NVIDIA L40
- Power: Flex Slot hot-plug power supplies from 800W to 1800W-2200W Titanium, two to four per server
- Management: HPE iLO with Intelligent Provisioning
Know your configuration before you order. The DL560 Gen11 runs as a 2-processor or 4-processor system, and several parts differ between the two — the OCP enablement kit, the UPI pass-through vs. 4P mezzanine hardware, and the heat sink kits — so match parts to your socket count.
Full platform detail is in the official HPE DL560 Gen11 QuickSpecs.

DL560 Gen11 Parts FAQ
Is the HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen11 a 2-processor or 4-processor server?
Both. It ships and runs in 2-socket and 4-socket configurations - the third and fourth CPUs install on a mezzanine board (the 4P CPU Mezzanine Kit), while 2P systems use a UPI pass-through kit and air baffle instead. Memory slots scale with installed processors.
How much memory does the DL560 Gen11 support?
It has 64 DDR5 DIMM slots - 16 per processor. With the 128GB DDR5-4800 kits currently offered, a 4-processor system reaches 8TB; HPE's support matrices additionally qualify 256GB modules for up to 16TB in specific configurations.
What drives does the DL560 Gen11 accept?
Hot-plug 2.5-inch SFF drives on U.3 Basic Carriers and EDSFF E3.S NVMe drives - up to 24 SFF or 24 EDSFF bays depending on configuration, plus an optional 2SFF Universal Media Bay. There are no 3.5-inch LFF bays on this model.
What is the liquid cooling option on the DL560 Gen11?
A factory-installed closed-loop liquid cooling heat sink kit used for 4-processor configurations with high-TDP CPUs. It is factory-integration only (not a field-upgrade part) and carries a 5-year maximum usage limitation, after which HPE requires replacement. Air-cooled 2P and 4P configurations use conventional high-performance heat sinks.
Can I mix new and refurbished parts in the DL560 Gen11?
Yes. Genuine HPE parts perform identically whether new or refurbished, and our refurbished stock is tested before shipping - a common way to add memory, drives, or a redundant power supply at lower cost.
