There is no rail kit for this tower. Budget the tray and a PDU cord together, or leave the machine on a shelf and manage it through iLO 4.

- Match the keyboard layout to the country. The kit here is US; HPE documents the same USB BFR with PVC Free kit in nineteen other national layouts.
- The conversion tray is the only rack mounting HPE documents. There is no rail kit for this tower, and a tray occupies 4U.
- Count servers, not ports. Analog console switches put one local console in front of several machines; IP console switches do the same job across a network.
- iLO 4 may remove the need entirely. It is embedded on every ML310e Gen8 and reachable from a browser, so test any console purchase against what the remote console already does.
