HP 8 Internal Port SAS HBA with RAID NOTE: For use with Hot Plug SAS/SATA models. Required only when upgrading from a non-hot plug to a hot plug model. NOTE: The selection HP 8 Internal Port SAS HBA with RAID requires the purchase of the PCI-X Riser Option kit (P/N 409347-B21)
HP ProLiant DL180 PCI/X Riser Kit NOTE: This option kit replaces the three internal expansion slots listed in step 1 base configuration. NOTE: Optional PCI-X option kit includes: Slot 1: full-length/full-height PCI-X 100; Slot 2: Full length/Full-height PCI-X 100. PCI-X slots are 64 bits; 133 MHz capable if only one PCI-X card is installed in the server.
NOTE: Optical drives can only be installed on 8 bay hard drive models.

NOTE: The components of a storage subsystem (e.g. the drive, the HBA/controller, firmware, and the server backplane) should operate at the same data transfer rate or the system bandwidth will be negotiated down to an acceptable level for all components.
High Efficiency HP 1200W 12V Hot Plug AC Power Supply NOTE: Redundant Power Supply configuration for 1200W power supply requires both power supplies to be 1200W. The 1200W and 750W power supplies cannot be mixed.
HP Smart Array E500/256MB Controller NOTE: When ordering a Smart Array E500 Controller with BBWC the addition of the HP SA-P400 and SA-E500 24" Battery Cable Kit (417836-B21) is required.

HP DL180 G6 3PCI-E x8, Full Height Kit NOTE: This option provides two x8 full-length/full-height slots as well as an additional x8 (x4 electrically) slot. This allows the DL180G6 to have a maximum of four (4) slots.
