NOTE: RDIMM and UDIMMs are all distinct memory technologies and cannot be mixed within a server. The majority of ProLiant Gen8 servers support RDIMM, UDIMM.

Hard Drives
NOTE: The components of a storage subsystem (e.g. the drive, the HBA/controller, firmware, and the server backplane) should operate at the same data transfer rate or the system bandwidth will be negotiated down to an acceptable level for all components.
NOTE: Hard drives have either a one year or three year HP warranty.
NOTE: The non-hot plug hard drives use a quick release carrier.

Drive Cage Kits
HP SL230 2X Small Form Factor (SFF) Hot Plug Hard Drive Cage Kit NOTE: The Front Hot Plug cage kit, enables two hot plug drives to be implemented in the front bezel. Drives can be implemented individually in order to support a FlexibleLOM or riser card option in the opposite slot.
