NOTE: The components of a storage subsystem (e.g. the drive, the HBA/controller, and the server backplane) should operate at the same data transfer rate or the system bandwidth will be negotiated down to an acceptable level for all components.
NOTE: Transfer rates of drives are dependent on the maximum transfer rate supported by the HBA or Controller. Refer to the HBA or Controller technical specifications for details.
NOTE: Mixing SAS and SATA hard drives is allowed. However, only SAS hard drives will be used for RAID setting.

750W CS HE Gold Hot Plug Power Supply NOTE: 750W RPS requires a Redundant Power Supply Enablement Kit 5U G6 (P/N 508544-B21). Two (1) 750W PSUs and one (1) RPS enablement kit are required to achieve redundancy.

HP NHP Internal SAS/SATA 4 Port Cable Kit NOTE: NHP Internal SAS/SATA 4 Port Cable (487734-B21) is required when adding Smart Array P410 Controller on Non-Hot Plug SATA/SAS server models.
